All talon gearbox sprockets are manufactured "in house" in the UK. Heat-treated for maximum life, precision CNC machined (ISO 9001) from Nickel-Chrome Molybdenum steel and zinc plated to avoid corrosion.

Talon's unique groovelite design has a self-cleaning groove under the teeth on both sides of the sprocket.
Standard
Standard front sprockets are available for certain bikes where the groovelite design has not been manufactured.

The evolution of the exclusive WORKS-Z sprocket, now made from the highest quality stainless steel. The new design weighs up to 50% less than before due to new weight reduction hole cut outs, but still has a hardness 5 times that of an aluminium sprocket and twice that of a standard steel sprocket. Up to 4 times more durable with 1.2 times the lateral strength of any aluminium sprocket. With the same great self cleaning capabilities as the original WORKS-Z sprocket due to the offset tooth design, the entire chain drive system’s life is extended.
